Sulfide Specimens: Sphalerite, Pyrite, Chalcopyrite
These hand picked beauties are from the Huaron Mine in Peru.
The quartz crystals are euhedral and water-clear; the pyrite
cubes, often striated, are brilliant. The sphalerite in these specimens
show the tetrahedral crystal habit. One specimen is tetrahedrite.

Medium Specimens, $150

This specimen has a stalactitic appearances with all sides of the sphalerite bed covered in radiating water-clear quartz crystals. A few of the quartz crystals have been broken off at the base, but does not detract from the quality of this specimen.

Photographed from the top, this specimen clearly shows intersecting pyrite cubes with an aggregate of sphalerite crystals and some large twinned sphalerites. There is a dense bed of small, water-clear quartz crystals at the front of this specimen.

This is a fairly large specimen with brilliant striated pyrite cubes with only a minor amount of quartz crystals, some of which are broken. It is the brilliant nature and large number of pyrite cubes that makes this piece exceptional!
